So this seems to happen exactly the same way every single day. i start my car (1995 3.0 MTX, 174,000 miles) drive .1 miles to the top of my street. When I give it a little gas to go once stopped, instead of revving up like every other engine ever, instead the rpm drops and the car stalls. It idles fine, but the second i hit the gas it stalls, and takes forever to get started again. Once the car has been running a bit and is heated up it is fine. I got the car in May and have had no problems with it, but now that it's getting cold, this happens every morning without fail.

So would this be a bad Mass airflow sensor, or the Throttle Position sensor, or neither?

I would check both of those.
Any codes?
I would also check your fuel pressure

Makes sense. Lately I hear it making a moaning sound. And there were a couple times a few months back the pump didn't immediately turn on. And there have been a couple times when I've turned the car off, and it continues to run.

Won't turn off? I would check the Constant Control Relay. Sound like oneof relay is sticking closed or not pulling in. Next time won't start smack the the CCR and see if start. May or not work. [I didn't say take a hammer to it] Maurice
