My 1990 SHO has a stumble when I shift to first from stop -most noticeable. But I can detect this miss in other gear shifts as well. I received koer codes 41 and 32. 32 indicates low voltage on egr but I cannot locate an egr. The 41 indicates the right o2 sensor. Where is the right O2 sensor and where if anywhere is the egr. What gives with the egr?
Thanks

unless you have a California mtx, you do not have an egr. The right oxy sensor is the rear, so on the rear exhaust pipe just below the exhaust manifold.

The codes are reported from smallest to largest number, so I suspect you mis-read them. I suggest you read them again to confirm.

Codes 31 and 42

Thank you Rubydist. Pretty sure I read codes correctly. I read several times. May have read 31 before 41 if that is what you mean. i am using an X-Ray code reader. I will recheck my reader configuration. I am not able to clear the codes though my reader indicates "successful". Again, thank you for your quick response.

use the paperclip method - some of the code readers do not read accurately.

then, you reset by pulling out the paperclip while the cel is still flashing the codes.
