On my way to work last week the SHO started bucking, missing, etc. and will not rev past 2500. This happened all of a sudden. The car had been running fine before this. I ran the codes (KOEO) and came up with the codes 85 and 11. The 85 doesn't bother me (canister purge) but the 11 does. The last time I had these codes and the car started running like crap, it was the computer. So today I installed a known good computer that I purchased and it did not change anything. I checked my grounds and double checked the ones at the intake and battery and they are fine. I don't understand what is going on. I start the car and the CEL is going nuts and the car idles like it has a 800 lift cam. Any suggestions?

The 11 is system clear. Have you ever tried/had to address the cannister as a problem?

No, its never been a problem. The only time its come up is in conjunction with the 11.

The IAB is only active at idle. If it won't idle then it may be a problem but at speed it isn't going to do anything.

If you are getting a canister code this may be that it isn't venting the fuel tank. See if loosening the gas cap helps stop the bucking.

Check fuel pressure - may be a bad pump or fuel pressure regulator. Also, your fuel filter may be clogged. You may want to verify your ignition as well as you could have oil/water in your plug wells if it is misfiring. That or bad plugs/wires/coil pack.

The IAB valve actually is constantly active. When accelerating/ decelerating/ at idle etc. The solenoid controls it in relation to load, vehicle speed and other parameters. I did take your advice about the gas cap and I'll be damned if it didn't start up and run fine. Smooth idle and everything. thumbs_u Thanks a lot guys for your ideas and suggestions. The SHO lives again!
