I have a 2014 PP with 188K. I had the water pump and timing chain done and I now get a p0299. I replaced both turbos, the boost solenoid and the pipe that runs across the top of the engine from the rear turbo to the IC. It was oily around one of the plastic clamps. I have smoke tested it and also put 20 PSI into the intake trying to find the leak. My mechanic friend put some kind of a scanner on it it it shows it make 4 psi of boost then it goes to zero. Would a tooth off on the timing cause this? Any insight would be appreciated.

I replaced the BOVs as well. I will check the c clips when I get a chance. I did order a noise maker bypass tube, hopefully it will arrive this week. I'm headed out of town and wont get to this until next week. I'm going to replace the noise maker with a plug today and see if that helps although, smoke and pressure tests didn't reveal anything there. Thanks for the responses.

I installed the Eco Power Parts noise maker eliminator. No Change. I had high hopes because mine had significant oil and dirt build up around the connections. I still have not checked c clips yet.
