I've got a code P018D on my 2015 taurus sho. I look code up and it said this. Fuel pressure sensor "B" Circuit high. I was wondering anybody else had this.
Thanks mark.
Yeah the recommended 3 things to consider 1st is FPs, wiring short, pcm.
There is a 6 step process to take after you have made suire there are no other codes that might contribute to a P018D code. If no other codes present... Looks like maybe a wiring probe job that I would really hate. Hopefully others will chime in with ideas
@luigisho is correct. The troubleshooting is to check voltage and resistance on a few points at the connector, then to check for an intermittent concern (tapping and flexing the sensor and harness from the sensor to the PCM, and then replace the sensor. Usually a wiring issue. The sensors don't usually fail with a high voltage.
