What does this code really mean? The description has indicated that the transmission control switch should be cycled once between engine id and goose test. What does that mean? The other codes are as follows-
Running:
332
538
536
521
632
I can see that most of the codes are because of set up issues-a/c off-wheel turned to the right etc.. What is the goose test? Any input will help. I am replacing the vss this weekend. I did not get a code(I think) for it but, the transmission has a "bump" from 1st to second and back to first(like it shifts early and then realizes it's mistake) but only does this after it warms up-maybe the vss is the problem?. I have replaced the tss about the month ago. Trans has 124000 on it(maybe a rebuild in it's life?) does not slip extra cooler added. I am looking for answers and a possible theory or two. A rebuild of the trans is not really an option. I have changed the fluid and filter at least 4 times with no shavings or burnt fluid at any point. All comments welcome- 1993 auto stock-M
