The rotors have to be redrilled, you have to have the caliper brackets, and you have to have wheels big enough to clear.

They don't generally, without at least a spacer. If the rotor diameter is bigger than about 12.2" they won't clear, either.

So Im guessing 12.2" is pretty big compared to stock. IDK the exact size of my Powerslots, but I know their smaller than that. Spacers?? Really??? That sucks.

I dont think I would ever put spacers on my hubs. Especially the wheels that are moving the car :bonk: Have you put spacers on? Does it look silly?

The Pumpkin has the original Bondurant/Roush incarnation of the "Cobra" brakes, and it has spacers roughly 1/8" thick to make the slicers fit. I can't tell that they're in there, but maybe somebody with a more critical eye could spot the extra track width in the front. Might need a pretty finely calibrated eyeball to do that, but...

Since I don't personally really want to race the thing with 6" wheels, I'll be putting different wheels on that have more clearance and won't require the spacers. I may also move my 12.5" Baers from my silver car to the Pumpkin, which would make all that moot, too...
