I went to start my car with the clutch in and it started moving with the clutch in. I assumed the clutch was gone and decided to drive home as it is easy to shift without the clutch and I was only a few minutes from home. After I got home, I went to check the car again, and the clutch was working fine, and has been working fine since.

Should I be worried about the clutch or pressure plate going, or can I adjust the clutch up to alleviate this from occurring again. If so, how do I adjust it. I have an '89 SHO.

to do the clutch adjustment in your SHO, follow these steps, -->>> with the engine off put your car in first gear and set your parking brake,,, slowly depress your clutch pedal to the floor and after put your foot under the pedal again and lift it toward yourself.. do this several times until you hear a click noise( sound) .. when you hear it that means the clutch c is adjusted.. you have to do this every 5000k miles ( 8000 kilometers) but well i do it every 4k miles for better shifting..

good luck man..

One of my rear calipers is sticky with the e-brake cable, can I just hold the brake down and follow the same process?

yes you can,, but just put your car in an even ground level so dont roll and you dont have to press the brakes while you do this process..

It seems to have worked, there was a noise as I lifted my foot off of the clutch after about 7 repetitions. Hopefully that fixes it. I took a quick tour and all is working well. If I have any other problems, I will be back for help!
