Hey,
I also posted this in the emergency section but posted here for more traffic...

Im in the middle of installing my Fidanza and Spec II Clutch. I have it all bolted up to the engine, but now im putting the quill sleeve and new TOB on. The quill sleeve is supposed to go on rather tuff. Well, mine just slides right on. There is definatly friction between the Quill sleeve and the shaft but i can push it on fairly easily with my own hands. Could the shaft be worn down from previous quill sleeve chatter? I dont want to install the tranny like this and have the damn quill sleeve come loose on me. Any help is appreciated!!

Try carefully bending in the tabs on the sleeve so they grip the quill better. And use some Loctite Quill Sleeve Adhesive

What he said...if the tabs and the green sleeve retainer (which you should be able to get at one of Checker/AZ/NAPA/etc.) don't hold it tight then you may have a problem.
