Hey Shoforum,
I've got my 95 MTX apart for what I think is a transmission problem and want to know if I need to replace the clutch as well. It is a ShoShop Hi Revs Jr with 60K on it and didn't slip before I had other problems. Will install a new TO bearing, but what experience do folks have with the Hi Revs Jr and what should I look for?
Thanks

IMHO - Since you have 60K on the current setup I would do a complete clutch job while it is apart.

I had the ClutchMasters Stage I in my MTX and liked it very much. I replaced every bushing, fork, etc. I could get at.

60k?

Yes, replace everything while you are in there. Unless you like clutch jobs.

Id replace the following:

*Rear main sal and carrier gasket
*Throw out beaing and sleave
*Clutch fork
*clutch fork bushings
*pressure plate
*disc

And as always, get that flywheel resurfaced!
