how does it run on a 92 MTX? under the booster and beside that black bracket that holds the brake lines? then im assuming it goes into the hole on the transmission case (is there a bracket to keep the cable secured to the hole on top of the case?) and onto the fork right? my problem is its kinda stretched and it wont sit flush against the hole in the trans case, its kind of cocked to the side, and when I step on the clutch it feels weird

make sure you have all the spacers that go into that hole.

Cable runs through the firewall, under the booster, through the white and black plastic spacer, into the hole, and up the arm. Its **** on earth getting it to wiggle thru all that mess....if you have a new one, it is pretty flexible. I would suggest replacing it if you have it out already since a new one is only 20 bucks from rockauto.com. No sense going through the hassle more than once.

it looks ok now, but how should the clutch feel, should I actually be able to feel freeplay in the pedal and be able to tell where it engages and releases (is it noticeable), or is it hard to tell on these cars? :oogle:
