Clutch cable bushing

I just ordered a new clutch cable for my '89 transmission and I was wondering if the cables came with a bushing that goes in the bracket on the trans or if that was something I'm going to have to order separately from SHO Source?

You're going to have to get that one from sho source if you need it.

I was afraid of that. I'll have to give my local you-pull-it a thorough look once it thaws out.

If you are going to a you pull it yard the bushing on the clutch peddle bracket is the same thing.

Does anyone know if something from another Ford product is a suitable substitute? Maybe Fox Mustangs, Probes, or manual Tempos?

The 20yr old junkyard bushing probably will not be in not much better shape.

Is there a reason you do not want to get it from SHO Source?

I have the ShoSource bushing. Its a great quality product.

My issue is $17 for shipping for two small pieces of plastic seems high.

My SHO Source clutch cable bushings showed up today and I am glad I made the purchase. The plastic feels like it's much higher quality than OEM Ford and looks like they'll hold up for quite a while.
