Well my new clutch has been in the car for about 5k miles. But its starting to act up, when I push my foot to the floor, about an inch from the ground, it click and feels like something is rubbing when I push it in.

When I give it a rev when the clutch is all the way in, the car moves forward, not supposed to do that.

The pedal also clicks when its cold when going inside and out.

Is this a common problem, or is this just the cables binding?

If it is, how hard is it to replace and how the **** do I do it. I am starting to get ******.

So if you give it gas with the clutch pedal in it engages? eek!
Sounds like your adjuster may be shot due to it clicking constantly. It's a bitch to look at never mind replace. If you were to replace it i'd just pull the front seat out (4 bolts) so you will have more room to work with.

If the car is moving with the clutch pedal fully depressed then the cable is not fully tensioned. The clicking and rubbing is likely from the throwout bearing to pressure plate interface. The throwout bearing and pressure plate were both new components were they not? Who installed them?

This could be a high friction on the quill tube or a wear pattern setting up on the TOB and PP fingers due to the slack in the cable. The TOB should be in full contact with the PP fingers with the pedal released. This lets the TOB rotate with the PP rather than slip and wear.

Scott I was kind of thinking the same thing but I am not sure exactly how the internal of the clutch work.

Everything except for the cables are new including the TOB

I had to have to clutch shop do the work because I am out at school in MI, far away from everyone I know and anyone that I would use.
