Hey everyone,
I've ran into a few problems trying to fix/install the “clutch adjustor quadrant and pawl kit”(?)
I guess I should have researched a bit more before I dived into it.
First off, if the teeth look fine on the blue plastic thing, what could cause the clutch not to adjust right? By that I mean it wouldn’t do anything if I pulled up on the pedal and pushed down, but I could get it to tighten by going under the dash and pushing down on the clutch pedal and then releasing it while holding the blue thing at the higher position.
I think this is the right kit, but should I be mad the stealership charged me $53.30 for it? Should I even use it if the teeth on the old one look fine?
Also, how is the spring a piece of plastic supposed to be orientated? pretty dumb of me not to make sure knew how to put it back together before I took it apart. Could the worn spring on this cause the adjuster not to work?
Sorry for the lots of Q’s, im just clueless on this.
