Because yesterday was so nice I decided to take the SHO (95 ATX) for a ride. So I get in start it up and start driving. But after a while I started to notice that on acceleration from a stop light I would hear a clunking noice. It would clunk on all acceleration speeds. Has anyone had this problem, or know what could be causing it. Maybe a ball joint?

Could be a number of things, kinda depends on weather the sound is form the front or the rear too. Could be sway bar bushings, sway bar end links, front motor mount, sub frame bushings (less likely), strut mounts (less likely), CV joints (less likely), lots of possibilities.

you might want to take a look at your strut rod sub-frame bushings as well, and were they attach, they have been know to break there, they can be welded or there is a kit from moog you can get to correct that problem, if thats indeed what it is. Good luck.

Its from the front of the car. Sorry about that. Alright well I'll give her a look. I just thought I would ask some people before I go ripping it apart. Thanx.
