Here is a strange one, and I cant put my finger on the issue! When driving with no lights on the clock works just fine, but when I turn on my lights it goes blank except for the : symbol. It doesn't reset itself, but hold the time at where I turned on the lights, till I turn off the lights. So if I turn on my lights at 7:24 it stays at 7:24 till I turn my lights off, then starts to "count" again. It also doesn't matter where the dimmer control is set at. Is there a cause/fix to this? Anyone ever experience this? Thank you!

wow strange! if the display was just dimming to the point where you couldnt read i was going to say check the dimmer switch , may be the clock ! try metering the green with yellow stripe i think is the colour which is the constant power that holds the clocks memory and if it stays try metering the ground after the lights are on ... i think its red? but could be different at the clock and if those both are good try another clock
