how hard is it to switch this. I've seen pics of this and i like how it looks. any feed back is appreciated.

The climate control is a piece of cake. Remove the dash bezel, take out the screws holding the unit in place, pull it out, unplug the climate control and remove. Assemble in reverse order. It can be done with a screw driver and small socket though I can't remember the socket size.

The radio you'll need the puller tool, $2 at a parts store and are pretty standard. Ours look like a U. Once you get the radio out it's a matter of unplugging the connectors on it and installing a new one with whatever hardware you get with it. A little time consuming but not a hard job by any means. The above is in reference to a Gen 1, I've not removed a radio from a Gen 2 so it may be more or less involved.

Yea get the tool , i tried with a 2 piece of a cloth hanger and its a PITA.

It can easily be done with a couple of precision screw drivers...no problems.

though I'm gonna go ahead and run with this for a lil while......anyone have any recommendations on what to use to center the CD player in the EATC hole? Where can I pick up a decent trim ring to make that work?
