Climate Control Problems-Help

Hey guys,
First i want to say thank you to all that help people out- it really is appreciated...

Second,
My problem is when i ever put my climate control on AUTO at about 78 degreees my heat will come on but ever so often the a/c will engage- this really sux when driving and have bog down and blow kinda cold- so what would be the problem for this.. it only happens when i put it on AUTO...

Why does this do that- is this a common problem..

I’m not sure about 92’s but I know that with my 99 and with every other car I have seen with auto climate control they all engage the A/C compressor.
