The "off" and "automatic" buttons of my climate control no longer illuminate at night. Anyone know how easy/difficult it is to change the bulbs behind the buttons?

It's not terribly difficult, but it's a dealer-only bulb at about $6 per bulb, x5 or so bulbs in there.

Pull the trim panel off, then the ECC unit out. gently pull the face off without breaking any tabs, and the bulbs are right there.

I have bulbs on the shelf waiting to put into my ECC.

Take your time, probably about an hour start to finish.

Thanks. It turns out that I can buy the bulbs (in Canada) from Canadian Tire at a cost of $1.90 (approx $1.25 USD).

I couldn't find a place down here that had them - everyone that had the correct p/n told me dealer item. 2 places had the wrong bulb # - they gave me 192's or something like that.

Best bet - pull the face plate, pull the bulb & read them the number. I can get you the Ford # tonight.

Good luck.
