Cleaning MAF?

How would you go about cleaning the MAF? Anything special or just some carb clearner?

IF I REMEMBER RIGHT, MAF IS SELF CLEANING USE AN ELECTRICAL CHARGE. NO CLEAN JUST REPLACE.

I followed Scott's advice as per the link below and it was very easy.
I cannot say whether it made a difference or not because my car was messed up with other problems when I did it, but it could not have hurt either.
