Cleaning Intake Bolts

Does any one know a good way to clean intake bolts so they have a good shine to them again

Just setup a bench grinder with a wire wheel on one side and a buffing wheel on the other.

Ditto on what Chris said. Use a cheapie grinder with a brass wire wheel if you can find one, it will not gouge aluminum as much as a steel wheel will.

If you can find bar polishing compound ( I get mine from a jewlry making supply shop ), get a bar for steel and one for aluminum. Also get a quick change buffing wheel holder. I makes changing from a steel buff to an aluminum one a snap.

Of course, this is way more info than you wanted to know.:rofl:
