If anyone has used this stuff, any tricks to it? I want to try it, but not sure how it works.

Just spray water or maybe soapy water (car wash soap) on the car, apply very light pressure to the clay bar, then go back and forth. The weight of your hand is almost enough pressure. The bar will flatten out and conform to the car surface. If the bar sticks, you need more water.

i used the mother's kit. came with the clay, wax, and a quick detailer to use as lubrication. works excellent. i got an 89 integra to look like it just rolled off the showroom. and its only like 20 bucks. the meguires kit isnt that good cuz the clay sticks to the paint. mothers leaves no residue. great stuff!!

Clay does the job. Being a detailer, i dont know where I would be without clay. It takes out those annoying little black tar dots on white vehicles rather easily and it's the easiest/safest way to take overspray off of vehicles. CharlieSHO's directions on using it were perfect. Just follow those and you should be good to go.
