How the **** do you get that dang thing to latch? I swapped my hoods to try and make the Lone Star SHO club run and I could NOT get that thing to latch for the life of me!! Tim (toolman) came down from Oklahoma and had hood pins on his, but the area where the hood latches is all chewed up now and looks bad.
Should I just go with the hood pins like toolman? What did you other guys do to get that thing to close? I pushed it to the point of the fiberglass beginning to sound like cracking ice and I stopped. Thanks.

Did you try loosening the 2 latch locating bolts? No 2 hoods are exactly the same, you probably just need to move the latch over a little bit.

You need to move the bumpers on the sides of the hood. I believe down. That is why mine wouldnt latch.

Jerms,
id lower the bumpstops/raise the hood latch..which ever is needed to latch. but remember, if its not metal reinforced at the latch point, youll only be wasting your time. go ahead and install the hood pins and be done with it. on my stock 91 'glass hood, at speeds in excess of 60 MPH, the corners lift a little and im afraid after too much longer, its gonna rack seriously. so soon ill be putting pins in mine as well...even though its just stock.

Hey Jeremy what did u end up doing to get it to latch. I'm having trouble with mine to. It is lined up perfect side by side. It just won't latch. I'm very confused. I do though want to get the latch reinforce kit.. Who sells them?

nope, actually you'd be surprised there is quite pressure gradient created at the base of the windshield. It will suck in way more air than will come out of there.
