chrome gen III wheels

I really like the look of these wheels mounted on gen II cars, but I have not been able to find any for sale. Has anyone found a source for these eithe chromed, or not?

Unless you find a used set somewhere Ford I believe is your only source. From Ford they're way to expensive...like close to $300 each if I remember correctly. squint

There is a set of non chromed ones on ebay right now if you are interested. Saw them last night, just search for taurus SHO. I myself am looking for a set, but I want the chrome ones and since I still have tread, it isnt urgent that I find them.

I know nothing about the Gen III wheels.

Do they fit on the Gen II, what size are they and what size tire do they run?

So many ?'s!!!

They will fit fine. The wheel are half-inch wider than the slicers. Stock tire size on the Gen III is 225/55ZR-16 Goodyear RS-A. I still have them on my '98

I have them on my Gen I.

And I have them on my Gen II. thumbs_u Got the whole set for $140 from a kid who had them on his 91 plus that he sold.

I have a set!!! I'm not sure if I'm going to keep my GEN II, I was going to put them on it. I'll entertain offers (don't be crazy and offer me some small amount!!!) I know what they are worth. These are all in great shape, no curb rash.

Quite a few people I know got them for around $300 without tires. I'd really be interested in getting them if you decide to sell them. Let me know if you decide to and we'll talk $$.
