Does anyone know who still carries the chrome cobra 17 X 7.5 wheel? I have looked through the old post and seen several cars that have these rims, but I cannot find a set. Thanks for your help.

Go poke around on a T-bird site. The bolt pattern and offset for the T-bird's are ones used on a SHO.

Not sure if they are Chrome, but Cincysho.com carries the cobra wheels.
Hope this helps.

They are also listed in fast fords and muscle mustangs all the time. Look through all the wheel ads.

Well i got mine from this site that sells mainly Mustang stuff .. these were Clearance for T-bird like the other guy said .. Most Wheel places like websites wont list For SHO. Werent enough made . So when you look around just search for T-bird.
Make sure the rim size isnt much bigger than 17x7.5 Unless you dont mind a little fender trimming job :D
any that you find are gonna be Replica's for the Most part.

Any other pics of them on the 91, John? Maybe SHOing the car with them for the overall look?

I'm curious because I always see cobra R's on gen 2 cars, but never on a Gen 1.

I was just looking at them in ebay, theres tons of them, decent pricing, but shipping can be expensive. What is the biggest size tires you could put on a gen II sho with eibach springs, ?
Thanks

I have a friend that sells them. He is the assistant manager of a local tire shop. They might not be the originals. If not they are an exact replica. He can get them in chrome and silver. They are called the Cobra R. I think they even come with the Cobra center.

I'll se if he can get me a pic and a price on them for you. I'm going to get the silvers for my 92. Look in my profile and email me and remind me to call him on Tuesday. Do you want tires with that? :D

Go to Ebay and search Thunderbird wheels. There are all kinds. Chrome, coated, polished and with or without tires.

Be careful, the wheels on ebay are listed as 17x9, which would be a tough fit on a Taurus.
