Back in Michigan ... again.
A little early for Christmas perhaps, but better to plan early for a nice dinner :thumb:

What kind of interest is there in this? The SVT/SHO Society used to do this every year; go out to a nice restaurant on a Friday, usually a week or two before Christmas day. Looking at the calendar right now, Dec. 15th looks like the winning day.

Location will depend on who is interested. If we have lots of interest from all areas we'll try to make it as centrally located as possible :thumb:

Or another idea... what about another Frankenmuth dinner? Bronner's Christmas World will be jumping, make for a great holiday atmosphere. And more chicken dinner... mmmm.

Thoughts? Interest?

We would be all in for this Christmas dinner deal, the 15th may be out though cuz Tim has a wedding to attend in CO. the kids and I can't go to CO with Tim cuz I can't close down the daycare so I could go to the dinner thing. Tim will be home that wekend though if the date is flexable. BTW our anniversary is the 21st of December!! just keep us all informed but I say lets go for it. :thumb:

Yeah...why ya gotta schedule it when I'm outta town? That just ain't right. What about the 9th or 10th? I'll be leaving for Colorado on the 13th at the latests, and probably won't get back till the 17th or 18th.

My brother's getting married after 31 years of bachelorhood, so there's no way in **** I'm gonna miss this. I'm still somewhat convinced that this is a huge practical joke played on my behalf.

That may be more of a localized thing... Cleveland is quite a haul for the SE MI folks, nevermind the West MI crew.
Maybe, but Beth and the Indiana crew makes it and I know Jason (Miltownsho) drove all the way from Milwaukee the one year.

It was kinda quiet last year. With burgers and fries on my don't eat list it wouldn't be the same!

If its in Frakenmuth I'm there, only 30mins from me in Midland. And I'll be flying out the nexty day from Detroit to go home for Xmas break. Sweet!

Keep me updated. No SHO tho.

Why not a Saturday? My other half cant make it on a Weekday, and I vowed to take the little lady there long ago... so a solo run would get me hurt.

My bad, I thought the 15th was a Saturday. Make it Saturday the 16th then cause yeah, I think most people would have problems with a Friday meet :thumb:

Does anyone have thoughts on another location? What about Jim's proposal for Quaker Steak? Or what about something in the Lansing area, or possibly further south? Closer for the west MI and Indiana folks, little longer for the rest.

Just throwing out some thoughts :thumb:
