Was idling this morning and got a flashing check engine light. Sputtering bad with no power and heavy fuel smell. Pulled the engine cover and had fuel smoke come out the filler. Woohoo glad i got a 90 day warranty just gotta get it 40 miles to the dealer

hope the cats are ok, and if they aren't, that they cover under warranty as well.

If you consider an extended warranty you would probably be better off to get it just before you turn 1ook.

So they called apparently the light went out but cyl 2 misfire. Couldnt get it to mis again. Swapped the coil with 5 to see if it was that. No misfire. I told them to look at the injector. Back to waiting

Was told the only guess they have is the recirc hoses i took off and capped the pipes. They have no damn clue. Ive had that done for weeks with no issue. Taking my car back and ill dig into it myself.

yea the VTA mod won't do anything like that unless you capped the BOVs themselves and someone pressurized the crank case. but even still it wouldn't cause a misfire.
