My car has sat for 2-3 months now and ran about 3-4 times in that timeframe. I was having a couple issues when running it last weekend. After about 5-7 min of running the check engine light would come on and it would sputter every 2-3 sec and this would continue throughout the RPMs. It wouldn't stall, but would come close after revving and letting off. At one point the car just shut off on it's own completely without warning(no stall, just cut out), but it only did that once. It did this when I had it running on pure antifreeze(dumb I know, but it's mixed now) and the temp meter on the dash was about halfway between H and C. It was running a little warm when sitting and idling for a while. Diagnosis? I have a feeling it might be the dead battery causing the engine to be a little wierd, but I'm not sure.
