Recently my check engine light has been comming on from time to time, and I have lost some major power on take off from a stop.. I hear kind of a weird noise hard to explain, around the bottom of the car (not sure where, can only hear a little on take off)

Please any ideas? O2's?

You don't have to wait until the light comes on again, just check the stored codes by running the EEC test. See the site below for a great explantion of the process (jumper wire between the Self-Test Input and Signal Return connections of the EEC TEST plugs) and the links to the 2- and 3-digit code descritpions.
