Check eng light after maint

I brought my '95 SHO to a dealer for some maint. It was getting close to 60K and had an oil leak at the ft crank seal so I decided to let them do basically a 60K. Plugs and wires, timing belt and water pump, cam and crank seals etc. They called me up this morning telling me I now have a check engine light on, hard code 335. It's some sort of DPFE(?) code, which was explained to me as an issue with the EGR solenoid. There hadn't been a check engine light on in this car in the last year and I'm not big on coincedences. Can anyone think of anything that may have happened during the service to create this issue? Thanks.

Thanks for the links, good reading. I had actually found a couple of them prior to my question. I was mostly asking if anyone had performed a 60k and had this particular code as a result of the service. After reading the links, I have a better understanding of how the system works though.

I know that ford has a new dpfe sensor out it's plastic and comes with a new pigtail I had that code until I put the new sensor and pigtail in.

The problem ended up being the DPFE sensor. It was just coincedence that it went out during/after the service. I ended up drilling the rivets out of the old sensor and looking inside. There was a small burned out spot on the circuit board for some reason. Got a new one on there and no light now. Thanks all.
