I purchased a 2013 knowing it needed work. I like to tinker so I was good with that... I knew going in the car needed a timing set. The car still drove but was showing CEL. Replaced timing with Cloyes 90738SB set, along with a new Water Pump. I did not replace the oil pump. During this maintenance I also drained and filled the PTU, Transmission, and rear end. No leaking found on either. Replaced spark plugs with ford SP580 plugs. Back on the road no CEL.. Drove it very easy for two weeks rear turbo goes out. Ordered two new Ford turbos. Replaced both turbos, coolant lines, and drain lines. Back on the road. Drove it easy for two more weeks to ensure everything was broke in. Now I'm increasing throttle pressure noticing a chatter near or at the passenger side floorboard during medium to high pressure on the skinny pedal. This occurs at our around 2500-3000 RPM just before the transmission shifts gears. This sound does not occur at any other time. The sound definitely sounds metallic. I tried to pick up the sound on my phone to record it and attach to this post but unfortunately the road noise, and engine RPM drowns out the chatter. Under normal driving conditions there is no sound. I am also unable to replicate this noise parked, in neutral, or in drive with my foot on the brake. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help troubleshoot this issue.
