PN for the Quadrent is- E7FZ-7L583-A

I had a forum member send me the procedure, but I don't have the file anymore. I do have it printed out though- but then again, my scanner is down... :frown:

This is the only image that I have of the file...

Loosen up that one main bolt that holds the pedal on the mounting plate deal, then pull the pedal out. You'll have to mess with the quadrant to get the cable through and allow the pedal to come out. Then the rest is simple, just replace it and slap it back it the same way you took it out. I have the instuctions somewhere, but can only type them up as my scanner part of the printer I have acts funny and doesn't work 99% of the time.

IIRC, it comes with the blue quadrent pieces, and the other smaller toothed piece (white I believe). I can't recall if it comes with a new spring though....

Roger that , I just ordered one kit 70$. He told me only 2 are left , minus mine. Maybe other warehouses carries them though.

Thanks for the P/N I needed that.

Man, I think I bought mine for under $40. OTOH, that was a couple years back, and you know how Ford loves their parts..... :squint:

I bought mine for $40 8 months ago. You got jacked, dude. :oogle:

The kit will come with the blue adjuster arm, the white pawl, and the smaller spring for the pawl.

I changed the quadrant on my '95 when I replaced the clutch back in, err, umm, 2000, I think. Maybe '99. But I digress. I recall it being fairly straightforward, without any real gotchas. I had the Shop Manual, but I don't recall it being particularly necessary for this job.

The worst part was the contortion needed to get under the dash. I'm not exactly a small feller...

I thought it was kinda high priced too , but I need it now and they told me I could have it for Friday. Which is a good thing.
