anyone have trouble securing the metal clips on the intake box after changing the air filter. I got the one closest to the front fastened but get seen to get the back one. And will it be a problem if one isn’t fastened?

I'd make sure it is - just did this the other day to my 2016 - You really have to get the top aligned with the bottom, and then the clip goes on - it's tough but doable. Press "down" on the broad curved part of the clip (I say "down" because it's really towards the air box).

Are you making sure the tabs are going in the slots on the opposite end of the filter box 1st?

I use the palm of my hand to get the clips on, easiest I have found. Or you could use a clawfoot tool to pull it on.

Takes a while for the filter to actually get restrictive, unless you live in a dust-riddled area. Using a FilterMinder would help, but it is a rather large/prominent item to install. If you are ok with that, you will know when it trips into the red, it is time to replace the filter.

Start with a quality filter and you might even get 50K out of it before it has to be tossed.

I have to work at getting both clipped.
You need to clip both to properly seal air box.
