My SHO leaked no oil previously but after an oil change last week, it keeps leaking out out of the bottom of the filter. Turned it tighter but it still leaks.

Are there any issues with SHO's being picky about the type of filter used? When it wasn't leaking it had a Fram Filter but I used a Motomaster Canadian Tire brand filter on the recent oil change. I've used these filters for years without problems.

Could be too tight and the gasket is mangled.

Or the gasket from the old filter stuck to the oil cooler and now you have two.

Gonna have to take it off to find out.

Make sure it's the filter and not the filter adapter that is leaking.

Moto-master filters are made by Hastings and your filter will leak until you turn it on with the filter wrench.
I have been in the same spot you are in now.
Go against all the rules and tighten it on until it stops leaking.

I just tightened it by hand like I have for years but I will try the filter wrench to tighten and hopefully it stops the leak. Even though its a small leak its constant and a pain to clean up everyday.

Or buy another one , 4$ is an easy fix. While you are at it , I would change brands.
