cat smoking

I have this weird thing happening where one of my cats will start smoking when warm... what could this be from... i also noticed that my exaust smokes after the car is tturned off for up to two minutes???? I have been having issues with codes.... 173 and 177 ... so i replaced the o2 sensors and then got a code for114 so i changed the air temp sensor.... that code went away and then got 173 and 177 again.... whats going on....???? i just had a 60k from performance plus about 1 month ago... so after putting in 1400$ i kinda expected this damn car to run... please help all mighty sho gods

I have 2 guesses. First, is there an oil leak anywhere? It may be running down onto the cat. Second, you cat may be clogged.

I've had trouble with that as well. I got her a nicotine patch and it's helped her cut back, but she hasn't stopped smoking completely.

Looking forward to a smoke-free cat.

It could be a trans leak because I have a converter seal and axle seal leak. So check that out if you haven't.
