Well, I'm home now. I got soaked. Tent camping sucked. All the stuff I had for sale got rained on despite my efforts to keep everything clean. I saw a grand total of 4 SHOs. The only Taurus parts I sold were 3 molded heater hoses and a SLO cluster. Grand total $5.50. :frown:

Not the best year, but I blame it on the weather. I had fun anyway. :thumb: I think I'll only be getting one vendor space next year, if any.

I was there on Saturday and there were indeed many SHOs. Not sure about Friday and Sunday though. On Saturday, we had an impromtu(sp) mini-SHOclub Dyno day. Three Gen IIIs and a supercharged Gen II put their cars up on the dyno. The cars drew a prettygood positive crowd too as they were getting dynoed.

For those who stayed on Sunday, who were the winners in the SHO class?

I guess everyone got there late. There were 2 SHOs Friday afternoon, and 3 on Saturday morning, plus one 95 ATX for sale near one of the restroom buildings (behind the grandstand.) I gave up at about 10AM and figured no one was showing up. I went back to my vendor spaces and tried to keep everything dry and visible, but no one was buying much on Saturday.

BTW, if you saw a dirty 97 PG with "MR SHO" plates, that was me. I had to use the SHO to haul out my Falcon doors (which took an hour and a half to load into the car, so I didn't have time to clean it up) and about 200 lbs of miscellaneous Falcon and Taurus parts. It was parked on top of the hill by my camping space most of the time.

I know I know Carlisle has come and gone but I'm board at themoment and was thinking....

One of the fun things about going to these car shows, other than seeing everyone else's SHOs and meeting other SHO owners, is collecting those nifty dash plaques from each individual show you go to. I know it's silly. I only have a few (SHO East convention, one from Mid MD and last year's Carlisle). Well I went to Carlisle again this year and after I received my goodie bag, I enthusiatically searched for the dash plaque only to find that the 2004 plaque was a really cheap low quality refrigerator magnet. Anyone else disappointed by that?
