OK I still am having problems with my car. I have recently got a new alternator put in it 2 days ago, then yesterday the car started once and when I tried to start it again to make sure it will start--it didn't!! So I thought maybe I would replace the battery. Last night the car ran fine and then today driving home from the bank, my ABS light would blink every time my subs would hit-HUH?? Then as I was getting close to my house I noticed that the needle on the RPM's was not moving?? With the ABS light still on, I noticed that if I hit my brakes, the needle on the MPH would drop to 0 then would go back up to normal speed?!? I did make it into my garage and I shut the car off, and guess what, it won't start!!!??? Does anyone have any ideas at all or suggestions?? I don't have a clue now as to aht is wrong with it and I am getting tired of the weeks going by not having a car to drive!!! Thanks in advance!

ok, first things first, if its not starting you need to check the primary circuit. is the starter even cranking? or is it just a dead stick? can you hear the solenoid clicking? if not check your battery cables with a voltmeter at the starter connections. my cables just crapped out for no reason a few weeks ago leaving me unable to start the car, and i never had any problems before that. send us some more info on the starting conditions and well see what we can do.

Alright I just tried to start the car, and it did start. But every time that I turn the key, it sounds like it is losing power every time I crank the engine? The RPMs are still not moving normal like they should. When I rev the enging the RPMs only go up to maybe 2-2 1/2 RPMs but it is like delayed or something.

Check to make sure you do not have a direct short. This will cause all sorts of problems including draining your battery...or even explode your battery. Check your big battery cables all they way to the selenoid and the starter.
