first off. 97 with 60k. brakes and rotors 1300 miles ago. tires 10k on em. this sounds crazy but i noticed it when i switched from the silver wheels to the chrome wheels( factory) the car does not stop the way it should and it feels as if it is dragging or being held back, the calipers are not hanging up. wtf??? i wish i had the other set of rims to rule out the possibility... ideas????

Triple check the caliper sliders. They very frequently bind up, especially the rears. Did YOU do the brakes? Many shops reuse the old sliders and/or don't fully clean and **** the slider sockets.

Some use anti-seize, but I prefer silicone dielectric grease. It doesn't break down under extreme heat like some other lubes. Remember to clean out the sockets real good, too.
