And what we have here is a factory Ford Taurus enclosure with a JL 6W0 mounted in it. The box is baffled inside to reduce airspace to tighten up the sub, and the port is tuned to 50hz (elbow bend inside the box).





Would be a nice upgrade if you're just looking to add a lil extra. Asking $70 o.b.o. for the JL.


What we've got here is a pair of pretty well new pioneer base model 12" subs in some ugly yet surprisingly effecient enclosures. Perfect if you've got a pickup that could use some love.

Also, Jensen 400 watt 2/3/4 channel bridgeable amp. Works just fine, and actually moves those 12s pretty good.










Can give more pics upon request. asking $125 or best offer for the 12s and amp, $70 o.b.o. for the JL and enclosure. I'm flexible and motivated to get this stuff outta the garage.

i wouldn't use the factory sub, and I would fill the whole (50hz isn't really good for a sub anyways, nor duct tape), but I am lookin to get a sub (possibly a shallow mount pioneer or kenwood), and didn't know if it would fit in it with a little altering for sub-size. Any ideas?

Yeah, I ported it. I bought it from a well respected audio shop in Kalamazoo before they got out of the car audio game a few years back. The gentleman who sold it to me (custom built competition system in his car, designed and built by himself) measured the enclosure, did some calculations, and came up with the port design. I simply built it.

As for the duct tape, yeah, it looks like shit, but it's up against the package shelf, so who cares? It works. You can pick up the enclosure by the port and it ain't gonna move.

The port is ... just kinda hangin out? In 2 pics it's in 2 different positions.

The port's solid...I just went downstairs and picked it up to investigate your claims.

What you're so quick to point out as a tear is a shadow. I'll throw up a close up of the suspect spot later if anyone wants me to. However, if you're not interested in buying something, stay the **** outta my thread trashing my stuff.

I never claimed it to be high end comptetition level audio equipment. It's some relatively cheap stuff for an extremely cheap price, which is quite negotiable. I'd appreciate you deleting that post, or a mod doing it, as I don't particularly care for my for sale ad getting trashed by someone's opinion.

Oh yeah...good luck finding a pair of punch 50s anywhere. They don't really exist anymore.

Tim sells good stuff because he's a good guy. If I still drove a gen 2 I'd be all over that sub. Would have been sweet with my 230watt mono JBL amp.
