I got the canp code and also a egr code 332, so I looked to see where the heilz was the connection for the canp and I can not find the elect plug for it. The canp is just hanging connected to two vacumm lines. The car is a cali car so I don't know if they don't use it over there or what? Anyone help?

thanks

They use it. And the plug is in there... somewhere.

I'll go look for it on my car. I don't have the solenoid, but the wires are there.

Check the vacuum lines for blockage, too. Especially down at the Tee at the bottom of the radiator support. It has a habit of getting blocked up over time. That line has one leg that runs to the fuel tank, one to the purge solenoid, and one to the charcoal canister.

Alrighty then. It comes off of the main harness right near the SPOUT connector. When it comes loose like yours did, it will fall, so you might be looking too low in the engine compartment.

There's also a chance that yours is slightly different since my wiring harness is an ATX leftover.

Yeah, found it. Pretty hidden, and I was looking in the wrong places. Anyways disconnected the batt overnight to clear the codes hopefully it goes away, otherwise I'll check the accumulation on the lines.

thanks

Actually, the CANP electrical connecor comes out of the harness near the Octane Shorting Bar - It looks just like the SPOUT shorting bar, but different function. The SPOUT shorting bar is near the cam position sensor (CID).
