cam seals

Can the cam seals be changed by simpily untensioning timing belt and removing cam sprockets, replace seals and sprockets, then retension timing belt?

Conceptually, yes, but the hard part of that is lining up the timing marks to reinstall the belt.

In practice, you would want to turn the engine over until the cam timing marks lined up before disassembly, and then move the belt around so the timing marks on the belt line up when you put it back together. Not doing this will virtually guarantee that the cams will be out of time.
