Still.. if they cannot reset it remotely... That really stinks... I have read a lot of information and guys asking about buying a used mycalibrator, even I asked LMS about it...I have never heard them say you need to send the unit back to them for a reset...

Yea.. I don't always like how LMS responds...or how they go about selling stuff... But hey... They have OK customer service, a decent year round tune, and they are not a charity... They are out to make money...

I would see if you can't get your strategy and ecu swpn before you send it to them to unlock... Maybe they can go ahead and preload the tunes while they have the tuner... Otherwise you will need to wait another day or two to get the tunes after you get your unlocked tuner back...

Thats cool.. Wish I had a CC.. But I dont .. So i got this to be my daily driver and I could not have made a better choice.. I had a 99 Grand Prix GTX supercharged and that was alot of fun to drive also.. But Sold that in 06 when I got my first truck.. Really forgot how much fun a sports car is to drive.. The more I look at ur car the more and more I like that color.. Very sharp!

OK, I got a reply from them today and he said that changes were made and I got to send it in to them instead of doing it myself after payment.. Just more of a waste of time and shipping costs.... And a delay of getting a tune...

Did they explain why you have to ship it in? I bought a used MyCal two months ago and after pulling the info from my car as required, I then emailed that info in. After calling to verify info and paying the $300 transfer fee, I got a new email to download the software onto my PC to update the tuner. After updating, followed up with another email saying it was a success and then LMS sent my tunes and I repeated the process by plugging the tuner into my PC and updating it again. I'd say it was a 48 hr process from when I called to when I tuned my car.
