I know exactally where your talking about Mike, that red wire in that pic traveled the same route. I have my center console pretty loose, my rear seat is in the bedroom.. lol so it's mostly apart anyway.. lol I just really don't think it'll fit. I may try again just for giggles but this 1/0 is pretty fat. Another thing is running that route really shortens it up for me. That 1/0 isn't 30' long like I would like.. lol

Well, gotta run it then so you can get it back there cleanly without too much trouble.

I went to D & B Sales for 20 feet, the roll they had was 27 feet, they asked me if I wanted the whole thing, I said, "Sure!". Cut me a good deal at like $1 per foot. I think with the route I took, I still have like 12-13 feet after it is in the trunk.

And just exactly what is exactally? ;)

lol Spelling has never been my forte. But another thing... I got a sweet little app called "electrical wiring lite'..... its really nice to figure out voltage drop and everything. One thing I noticed is how bad wire gets when it's warm and corrected at a 'sustained' voltage, as opposed to a 'nominal' voltage like I see normally at work. Once you add 30 feet, warm it up in the engine bay... your amp draw is a lot different then you might think.

As long as I can get that 1/0 in the trunk, I have wires that feed off a terminal block, so the 'rest of the way' to the amps isn't a big deal. I have plenty of that. It's just really close I can tell by looking at it. It's just crossing the engine bay where I'm using up most of the length.

Next I get to send my HU back in because the stupid remote won't work... and I'm not going to get stuck with a $600 paperweight. lol So yea as soon as its in, I get to pull the HU and wait. lol :( So lame!
