Broken subframe

Does anybody know of a shop in the area that could repair my subframe? I need to get it done as soon as I can, as I was originally going to sell it this weekend, so....

But anyway, should I just try tranny shops or just a regular garage? Or does anyone know of a place that would do a good job?

Dang that looks familiar. Both the rear mounts were broken on my son's 93 ATX. Thanks to SHOBill and Operdot (& others) we got that fixed over Easter break.

You might give one of them a shout, I don't know if they'd be up to the work or not and I certainly wouldn't suggest driving it like that, but who knows. At the very least they can give you some pointers.

I would suggest pulling the subframe yourself and taking it to a fabrication shop in your town and have them reinforce the rear at the very least. Also it would be a good idea rebuilding front subframe mount area, the sway bar mounts, and strut bar mounts.

If you are interested I can definitely repair/modify a subframe, whether its your or one of mine.

Hi, I just bought a 94 SHO and I took it to get an alignment and they told me the frame was cracked and they wouldnt do it. Can you help? I live in flat rock.... I intend on rebuilding the whole car. I have replaced brakes, calipers, rotors, and struts all around. I want to make this car scream.....

Also, my shifter will not release inside car. can not get it into gear. Seems that the shifter wont unlock. do you know whaT IT MAY BE.....

Matt, you need to pull that SF to repair it properly or just replace that one.

I've got a 3.0 subframe sitting here on the north side of Shocago in my garage with only the block still on it. I got from Ryan Pasch if your interested. You could clean it up nice and just swap. Better to post at SHOcago .com, I'm not around here much, but glad to help.

Ok people, I have one of the members on here building me a new frame and I am excited. My restoration is begining. I hope to at least get frame and body finnished by spring. Lots of mods are going to be done.......
