broken k frame mount

it is the front right frame mount that has broken clean off. the bolt is inside the frame, is there any easy way to fix it? There was a recall on this at one time but not any more.

The mount broke or the bracket? I think the recall is ongoing. I haven't heard of someone being denied the recall in the recall areas. You have to be in the affected areas (salted roads).

The recalls (there were two) only concerned the rear subframe mounting hardware.

I`ve had this happen to me,if you`re only talking about the bolt.You can wiggle it out of the access slot on the side of the subframe.

are you talking about where the strut rod bolts to the subframe??

strut rod is the metal rod that connects the lower control arm to the subframe.....

if that is the problem, moog offers a kit to fix it
