broken check engine light?

hey guys, Anyone know of something to disconnect that would put out a check engine light but only until you reconnect it? I have a feeling that my check engine light is broken because it is running like crap but there is no check engine light. thanks guys! thumbs_u

when you turn the key to start the car does it come on before you crank it over (in the run position)? try running the codes and see if it even flashes. unless you were messing around behind the dash i dont think you could unintentionally mess it up.

The bulb could be blown. Describe what you mean by crap....elaborate as to exactly how it's running, maybe someone can help.
