Hey hey,
Got a 91 sho, just replaced the water pump and timing belt, and 1 shifter cable(Fore/aft).
Have 2 questions:
1. There's a shaft goin from the transmission to my front wheels, I noticed that the big boot that goes over it is split open about half way around, and the grease is leakin out. I know this is bad, and I'll replace it, but WHAT IS IT? I can't figure out what it's called to be able to look it up
And do I have to replace the whole thing? or just the boot?
2. How the heck do you get the left/right shifter cable out to put in a new one? I pulled it and yanked it both ways and it'd go so far the stop either way, I just gave up and hooked it back up and lived with the problems... Any ideas? I have a replacement cable but dunno how to get it in there... Heh
