At Seekonk today, Winnie said that she'd really like to get everyone together for a breakfast at the Old Country Buffet in Walpole in November.

I know weekends are tough for some people not being available one of the two days, so at this point we'll leave the day/date to majority vote (and ultimately depending on Winnie's schedule but I got the sense from her that any weekend morning would be ok).

FWIW, breakfasts we usually meet around 9 and by the end of all the eating, chatting, etc. wrap up around noonish.

It would be nice to get a large turnout since a. we haven't had a breakfast in a long time, and b. it will probably be the last chance for a gathering before the holidays.

In. I'm ****** at myself for missing Seekonk.

I was still hoping to do a NH cruise before Bear Notch Rd and Hurricane Mountain Rd close for the winter too.

Maybe we could try to do that after the breakfast? Not sure how much time is needed, but I'd be in for it.

BTW Fro, are you still going to STL?

Yup, still going.

I don't know how long the cruise would be either. We should get some input from bigjim on that. It's still leaf peeper season too, so unless we wait a few weeks, the roads will probably be pretty busy on weekends.

November 5th I could do breakfast but would need to be gone by 1:30PM. The 12th could be possible for a breakfast and a longer stay for me.

Being that I think we change our clocks the last weekend of October, I don't think we could do a breakfast AND a drive unless it was before that change as it's getting dark before 6 now anyway.

BUT, AFTER leafpeeping season is the best to drive the Kanc, etc. It's pretty quiet. Although, I'm not even sure when peak is/was up there. It may be clear now.

Just noticed that it's peak season right now in the White Mountains. And I think this weekend is the last days of the year for the Mt Washington Auto Road. I know Kirk didn't want to do that but I really like it. Don't know if I could do this Saturday but I'll throw that out there...

Heard back from Winnie this afternoon.

She's going to check her calendar and give me a list of days that work for her between now and Christmas and we'll see what works for the most people.
