I have had all new rotors and pads put all around on my car and about 1,000 miles down the road I get a sight squeek when i engage the brake and once pressure is applied no squeek. what the deal?

You probably just have some road grit in the pads. It should go away on its own oor after a good splashing through the rain or a car wash. Just in case, check the rotors for any scratches. It's not impossible for a pad to come off the backing plate.

Update: Well now I get a consitant squeek from the left front wheel, and I think I heard a slight grind when I turned right. Never happens when I turn left. What now? Oh yeah and I washed it too. Check the rotor with my finger and it is smooth.

I'm still thinking that something is embedded in the pad. I have had carbon metallic pads with larger than expected chunks of metal in the pad material that caused much squealing until removed with a screwdriver tip. You will have to disassemble the brake to inspect the pads to check for a condition such as this.
