I've searched and tried some of suggestions. I want to make sure before I replace some tuff to make this noise go away.

My right brake in the front is making a squeaking noise while it's rolling. I thought it needs some brake quiet thingy, so I took it apart to put some brake quiet. I found out that inside pad is worn out a lot more than outside pad. I also tried to turn the wheel when the wheels were off the ground. When I turned it, it made a noise. Seems like caliper is sticking out. I also took the left wheel assembly apart to compare those two sides. I figured out that the inside pad of left wheel aseembly is also worn out a lot more than outside pad. Weird thing is that this side is not making any noise at all. I put some brake quiet and testdrived it. First off it seems a little bit quieter but about 10 seconds later, it started making same noise as it was before i put some brake quiet. Also, when I turn to left, it seems like the brake is squeaking more than normal, but when i turn to right, it doesn't make as much noise. I also tried to roll the car when the car was in neutral to see if brakes are actually applied or whatever, but when I let the gas off and let it roll, it seemed like it's rolling perfect without any stopping power. I'm wondering if the piston is sticking out.

P.S : I took the caliper apart and spun the wheel assembly without caliper on. There was no noise at all.

Calipers are not releasing fully. Most likely cause is old rubber hoses swollen internally and/or caliper pistons badly corroded. Neither is easily seen. Start by replacing all of the rubber brake hoses, they are not expensive. Flush brake system with new fluid and bleed.

It might also be the quality of the pad, I got some cheap ones where a flake of pad comes off and gets it squeak everytime the wheel turns, I took off my calipers and removed the flake only to have it come back again a while later

I don't understand that when I put the car in neutral, It seems like it's rolling perfect without any resistance. Oh well, do you guys know where I can get whole brake hoses?

well, up here in canada, each line $40. A full set of stainless was about $120.

Here for replacement rubber lines they are $10-12$ a pc. I would start by replacing those, I had both of my rears on my 94 swell up and caused my calipers to stick. 2 sets of pads in 3 weeks sucked

It's not a collapsed hose.

A collapsed hose will not cause uneven wear - it will cause accelerated wear to both pads, as a result of failing to release pressures to both pads. Uneven wear is caused by the caliper slider pins hanging which allows the piston-side pad to retract, but fails to release pressure from the caliper-bracket side pad when the caliper cannot freely slide to release pressure to the inside pad. Hence the inside disc brake pad is continuously held with pressure against the rotor, resulting in accelerated wear to the inside pad.

What's slider pins? I thought slider pins are pins that hold caliper up or is it the pins that hold caliper brackets up? Because I cleaned the pins that are holding calipers up and lubed them

After you cleaned and re-greased the slider pins with synthetic grease, did you change the pads? What kind of pads did you put in? In the absense of actually hearing the noise, realize some cheap pads are going to squeak no matter what you do.

I didn't change pads. I think I'm going to change pads first and see if the noise is still there or not. What pads are good?

If you're simply driving it on the street, ceramic pads minimize both noise and dust. OEM pads are going to give you the least trouble, and I believe Bendix is ****'s OEM supplier.

Post how the car is driven, and others will chime-in with recommendations and experiences.

Ok. I just test drove it. It seems like when I let the gas pedal out, it jerks (I heard that's normal tho). Also, it seems like there's a little bit of stopping power when I let the gas pedal out. Can it be just because of pads?

Were you in gear? The engine's compression will slow the car down.

Well it's not supposed to be like that, but mine does the same thing. It's most likely just slop in the drivetrain. There's a current thread about it here.

Haha Thanks. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's having that trouble. Btw, do you think if I change the pads, the squeaking noise will go away?
